Hong Zhang is a Ph. D candidate in the graduate program in Biomedical Engineering department in Rutgers University and UMDNJ and works under the guidence of Dr. Peter Yim in Department of Radiology,UMDNJ and Dr. David J. Foran in UMDNJ. He has advanced training in computer graphics, image/signal processing and machine learning. He has been working in CBII since spring, 2003.

He is working on the different areas of 3D medical image analysis, such as segmentation and registration and visualization. He is trying to apply computer vision and computer graphics technology together to solve practical 3D medical image process issue. He has developed a 3D medical image analysis system in C#.
